Infusionsoft is Named One of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work® and Fortune

(Chandler, Arizona, Sept. 29, 2015) – Infusionsoft today announces it has been recognized as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Women by Great Place to Work® and Fortune. More than 135,600 female employees have been surveyed for this award and the winners were chosen based on women’s own assessments of the quality and fairness of their workplaces.

This recognition adds to the growing number of achievements recognizing our great workplace environment. Most recently, Fortune Magazine and Great Place to Work named Infusionsoft One of The Best Places to Work for Millennials. Additionally, Infusionsoft was ranked 13th in the 2014 U.S. Great Place to Work listing. Today’s acknowledgement further validates that Infusionsoft is a great workplace for female employees.

"Infusionsoft is such a highly collaborative environment that even though I'm 34 weeks pregnant, I still love coming in to work every day,” says Sheena McCoy, a Tier II Software Engineer who has been with Infusionsoft for more than a year. “I'm constantly learning new technologies because of the projects that we have ahead of us and my peers, who are equally passionate about building great software. It's great to work with other people who care about the technical community, and get involved through meetups, conferences, and workshops.”

The feedback from the 2014 Great Place to Work Trust Index© employee survey revealed that female employees at Infusionsoft ranked higher than the overall employee base in several notable categories:

  • Acknowledgement and inclusiveness-– Female employees feel they are shown gratitude for the work and effort that they put into the business. They are involved in decision making and instrumental to the success of the business.
  • Workplace Pride – Female employees expressed pride in their work and have a sense of accomplishment as a result of helping small businesses succeed every day.
  • Workplace Environment – Females employees feel positive about Infusionsoft’s workplace environment. The company is committed to its core values and strives to create and maintain a healthy workplace environment.

“Being recognized as a great place to work for women is a testament to the environment and culture of inclusiveness we’ve created,” said Hal Halladay, Infusionsoft Chief People Officer. “Diversity in the workplace balances the company and exposes us to a greater pool of leaders that will significantly influence the future of Infusionsoft and small business owners.”

Infusionsoft and the 99 other winning companies were selected based on evaluations by over 135,600 female employees on Great Place to Work’s Trust Index© employee survey. Women considered everything from the fairness of their company’s promotions, to who has access to information and leadership, the level of support for employees’ personal lives, and the degree of inclusiveness and connection they feel with colleagues. Scores also take into account how well-represented women are within the workforce, management and executive positions; how positively women experience their workplace’s fairness; and how favorable women’s experiences are compared to the 138,000 men also surveyed.

Across the 637 companies studied, Great Place to Work found that men’s and women’s experiences were most likely to differ on measures assessing the fairness of their workplaces – as well as several measures rating their access to communication and involvement in workplace decision-making. By contrast, researchers’ analysis of women and men’s results show that the 100 winning workplaces create a more consistent and inclusive environment for both genders across a range of day-to-day trust-building behaviors, including employees’ access to special recognition, fair treatment regardless of role, and management’s approachability.

“The companies on this list are leaders who recognize the strategic importance of creating workplaces that attract and support the best talent in their industries,” says Michael Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work® United States. “While specialized programs to support women’s equal access to opportunity are often strategic, in many ways it is just as important – and challenging for leaders -- to establish a pattern of inclusiveness throughout everyday workplace interactions since these rely on everyone to overcome their blind spots. Ranking on this list a great indicator that these companies’ efforts to create great workplaces are resonating throughout their teams.”

The 100 Best Workplaces for Women ranking is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work® and Fortune based upon employee survey feedback from published Great Place to Work® Reviews.
