Infusionsoft Honored with Pioneering Award at Governor’s Celebration of Innovation
11th Annual Awards Recognize Community Involvement, Corporate Citizenship
(Chandler, Ariz. – Dec. 4, 2014) Infusionsoft, creator of the leading sales and marketing software for small businesses, has been honored with the Pioneering award during the 2014 Governor’s Celebration of Innovation. The awards are presented by the Arizona Technology Council (AZTC) in partnership with the Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), and celebrate the best and brightest in the state’s tech sector. The Pioneering award is the highest honor given, as the award is presented to an outstanding company that has gone above and beyond the call of duty in contributing to Arizona’s technology industry.
“This recognition is further validation of the impact we’re having on the global small business community and also the tech sector here in Arizona,” said Marc Chesley, Infusionsoft’s Chief Technology Officer. “We’ve hired hundreds of people in the past few years, and many of those are high-tech software development jobs. We’re planning for a lot more hiring in 2015, and that will help the state’s fast-growing technology community.”
Infusionsoft was selected because of its strong work to define the market of sales and marketing software for small businesses, as well as its active involvement with the Arizona technology community. Infusionsoft supports local organizations with sponsorships, mentoring, and free use of its software including chambers of commerce, Gangplank, The AZ Technology Council, SEED SPOT, as well as Invest Southwest and the organization’s Venture Madness competition.
“Being a member of Arizona’s growing Silicon Desert is important to us,” said Clate Mask, Infusionsoft’s co-founder and CEO. “Early on it was assumed that we would eventually move out of Arizona, but that’s something we will never do. We’re committed to growing the tech community here because there’s strong tradition of technology innovation in this state. The deep talent pool, as well as the favorable business environment in Arizona, helps us continue to serve our small business customers around the world with great software and exceptional service to help them succeed.”
Infusionsoft has also been honored locally by being named an Arizona’s Most Admired Company by Arizona Business Magazine each year since 2010. It has also topped the Phoenix Business Journal’s software companies list and also been honored by the publication as one of the top private companies in the state via the ACE Awards. Infusionsoft is an eight-time Inc. 500/5000 winner, marking its status as a continued fast-growing business.
