Family-Run Shop Credits Infusionsoft's Small Business Solution for Best Growth in 25 Years

Gilbert, Ariz. - August 19, 2009 - Infusionsoft, the leader in automatic follow-up software for small businesses, is pleased to highlight the growth of its customer V.I.P. Auto Appearance on the two-year anniversary of the family-operated automotive detail shop's deployment of Infusionsoft.

The D.C. area-based V.I.P. Auto Appearance first implemented Infusionsoft in August 2007 and immediately saw a 17% growth in sales in the first three months. Owner Charles Mack, Jr. says that growth has not slowed since, despite the worst economy in decades, and to date, Infusionsoft has directly increased its sales nearly 50%.

V.I.P. Auto was founded by Charles's father 25 years ago and has grown to thousands of clients despite being run by a small staff of eight people. Before the economic downturn, Mack says the growing business needed more than just 'frankensteining' point solutions like email marketing and appointment reminder programs. He even considered hiring an assistant just to do follow-up phone calls, but he realized that wasn't really going to solve the problem.

"I knew I needed to do more on the marketing and follow-up front, but I also knew that the problem was my systems," Mack, Jr. recalled. "I needed to get rid of my multiple systems and streamline them into one. Just hiring another person wasn't going to solve the problem. It would have been a waste of money."

Mack learned about Infusionsoft and got going right away, seeing his sales increase after setting up just a few simple campaigns. He also found his gold mine in the Infusionsoft shopping cart, which allowed V.I.P. to establish a Web store where customers can purchase and schedule everything from interior shampoos to car alarms and DUI breathalyzer systems.

"In my industry, hardly anyone has a shopping cart," Mack said, referring to the auto detail and customization industry. "Infusionsoft has this built in to its platform and gave me the ability to power ahead of my competitors. Once we began using the online shopping cart features, we saw our sales increase by 30% from online purchases alone."

Mack said Infusionsoft is directly involved with more than 70% of the company's business and he even expects to double V.I.P.'s sales within the year.
