Infusionsoft Payments Gives You the Ability to Create Official Quotes and Manage Your Payments in One Place

It’s been the summer of getting paid here at Infusionsoft. Not for us, but for you, our customers.

We’ve been working hard to deliver financially-focused features that help our customers get paid quickly and in a timely manner. In July, we announced the launch of our new invoicing feature to help our customers end the frantic chase-down of overdue invoices. This month, we’re happy to introduce Infusionsoft Payments, an all-in-one solution for creating official service quotes, managing invoices, and accepting digital payment.

Cash flow, or lack thereof, is a leading cause for small business failure. A 2017 WePay study of small and medium-sized business found that 41 percent of businesses experience cash flow challenges. Additionally, only 33 percent reported they receive payment immediately, most of whom sell their goods in-person or accept cash payments only.

We looked at the data, we listened to our customers, and we responded by developing Infusionsoft Payments.

Unlike Word documents, emails, text messages, or other tools that don’t work well together, Payments links directly to your customer records within your Infusionsoft app. Say goodbye to multiple apps and tools, and the tedious, manual input of customer information and payment details. Say hello to quick, easy, and professional-looking quotes and invoices.

With Payments, you can also get a clear, detailed view of all your incoming and outgoing quotes on a user-friendly dashboard. You can also set up auto-reminders to nudge customers to accept your quote or submit their payments, and the “Accept quote” and “Pay now” buttons let them do so quickly.

By eliminating the need to chase down payment, you’ll have more time to plan your next steps and deliver great service.

How it works

  1. Connect your Infusionsoft Payments to your bank account - If you’re not sure how to do this, check out this Help Center article to get you started.

  2. Create a quote or invoice - Create a branded invoice or quote for your product or service and send it to your customers in one click. For quotes, you can also include your terms and conditions.

  3. Convert a quote to an invoice - Once you’ve completed a job, convert your quote to an invoice in one click for immediate delivery.

  4. Accept credit payments immediately - Whether using a “Pay now” button on an invoice, an online order form or shopping cart, over the phone, or on your mobile device (by manually typing in the card information, or swiping/dipping the card with our Bluetooth card reader*), you can collect payment instantly without having to connect all the information on your own.

  5. Schedule personalized, automatic reminders and emails - Infusionsoft users can set up automatic reminders to nudge their customers to accept a quote or remind them when an invoice is due. The feature also allows users to create a sequence of personalized emails thanking a customer or requesting their review of your business once you’ve received their payment.

Payments is available immediately to all current Infusionsoft customers, requires no additional integrations (your account is ready to go! Just add a bank account to start transacting your funds), and there’s no additional monthly fee required.
