January Campaign of the Month: Newsletter Sign-up and Preferences

Created with Sketch.
Lauren Joyner

Hey Infusionsoft users—Do you have a newsletter that you send out periodically? Have you found that there is no easy way for recipients to change their newsletter preferences? Quite often, since this function is lacking, subscribers will completely opt-out from the database, which means they may be missing important non- newsletter emails. When a paying customer opts out for this reason, it can be particularly detrimental to the relationship.

Let your subscribers control their own email preferences. This is where the January Campaign of the Month can help. This campaign contains a sign-up web form that adds someone to your newsletter list once they confirm their email. It also contains a preference center that can be linked to from within any newsletter that gets sent out. This ability to update newsletter preferences allows the user to customize their subscription without the dangers of a complete opt out from all content.
