New Survey Results Show Majority of Small Businesses Using Automation Expect Increases in Revenue and Staffing
(Chandler, Ariz. – Oct. 20, 2016) —Small businesses harnessing automation have more optimism, expect to increase revenue and add staffing according to a survey conducted by Infusionsoft.
Approximately 96 percent of those surveyed are optimistic about the future of their business, and 82 percent expect their revenue to increase and more than 52 percent expect to add an employee within a year.

According to the survey results, small businesses are both fully aware of the value of technology and their technology adeptness. 82 percent of respondents agreed technology was very important to the success of their business. They are bought in on the high value, but the majority (55 percent) only gave themselves a “B” grade (on an “A” – “D” scale) in terms of tech proficiency. This shows there is a gap between where small businesses are regarding tech savviness, and where they know they need to be. Infusionsoft has online education tools and coaches available and will continue to work hard to bridge this knowledge gap.
Not only does technology offer a way to attract and retain customers, but it also provides a platform to sell to those customers from. For example, more than half of survey respondents claimed to have digital storefronts. Of this group, 41 percent acknowledged more than 75 percent of their sales come from online.
“We acknowledge that no two businesses are alike and determining to sell online depends on an array of factors,” said Mask. “That being said, with the potential for growth, selling online should at a minimum be seriously considered.”
