(Chandler, AZ - June 21, 2013) - Infusionsoft, creator of the all-in-one sales and marketing software for small businesses, today announced its chief technology officer, Marc Chesley, has received the honor of being named the 2013 CIO of the Year. This award was hosted by the Phoenix Business Journal and the Arizona Technology Council, and recognized 16 valley IT leaders as the top CIOs from Arizona. Chesley was awarded the premier honor of CIO of the Year for his outstanding leadership in pushing sales and marketing software to new limits. The award was presented at a ceremony held on Thursday, June 13 at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown.

Chesley has been on the executive leadership team at Infusionsoft since 2005. In this role, he brings a blend of technical proficiency and entrepreneurial fire into leading Infusionsoft's software engineering, systems administration and email deliverability teams. He guides the company in translating vision and design into tangible product to help small businesses succeed. In the industry at large, Chesley has made a name for himself through innovation in both technology and business.
Prior to Infusionsoft, Chesley successfully founded, grew and sold a computer and networking services company. He has also held executive positions for WinForce Technologies and IT Partners. As an attorney, Chesley focused on venture capital financing, mergers and acquisitions. He holds a Juris Doctor degree from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Arizona State University. Chesley brings a diverse background and unparalleled knowledge to his role as a technological leader, and it is this experience and natural leadership ability that has earned him the CIO of the Year recognition.
