Extensive User Testing Results in a More Intuitive, Easy-to-Use Interface and Layout, to Help Small Businesses Grow More Quickly and Easily
PHOENIX, AZ (October 20, 2008)—Infusionsoft, the leader in marketing automation software for small businesses, has completed the most comprehensive update to its award-winning Automated Follow-Up Marketing solution thus far, providing customers with an improved user experience that focuses on the needs of entrepreneurs and true small businesses. Infusionsoft rolled out the update to its customer base of more than 8,000 small business users over the last month, supporting the update with video and text guides through the Infusionsoft Fusebox to bring current users up to speed quickly. Major updates include a redesigned look and feel and streamlined menus for faster navigation, all with the goal of putting the most important tools at users' fingertips.
Infusionsoft undertook extensive user testing to ensure that the update addresses the needs of small business users. In addition to a completely updated interface and redesigned look and feel, Infusionsoft dramatically streamlined the menu system. Current users will welcome the simplified main menu that makes more frequently used items, such as sending a broadcast or adding a new contact, more accessible. For new users, Infusionsoft created a separate setup menu that dramatically shortens the time it takes to get up and running. Infusionsoft also created a new pop-out menu for accessing email, files, calendar and tasks as well as recently viewed items. Users can save custom searches to the new pop-out menu for quick access to the searches that they use most frequently.
Other updates to the Infusionsoft Automated Follow-Up Marketing solution include:

- AJAX technology employed to speed up searches, page displays
- Enhanced calendar

- Search tool is updated and enhanced
- New reporting section with dozens of reports (marketing, sales, orders/ecommerce, affiliate/referrals, etc.)
- Send a broadcast (email, fax, direct mail, voice broadcast, etc.) more easily from any page in the application
- Built-in wizard to simplify creation of follow-up sequences
