(Chandler, Ariz. – May 31, 2017) Infusionsoft today announced a new position to the executive lineup with the hire of Keith Reed as the chief revenue officer. Reed oversees Infusionsoft’s entire sales and marketing organization and is focused on further accelerating the company’s growth in the small business market.
“I hope to help more small businesses worldwide find success and take Infusionsoft from serving 33,000 customers to millions in the not too distant future,” said Clate Mask, CEO and co-founder of Infusionsoft. “To get there, we need leaders who have a proven track record of helping other companies scale to that level, which is exactly why we brought in Keith. We're excited to have him on board to help us simplify growth for small businesses.”
Reed joins Infusionsoft from magicJack VocalTec, a provider of “Voice over IP” cloud-based communications offerings. Reed served as magicJack’s general manager and senior vice president of the Business division. From the ground up, he built the newly launched division and oversaw all functions from product management and development, sales and marketing, operations and the customer care team. During his tenure there, he launched two new products within eight months that brought in thousands of new small and medium-sized business customers. Prior to that, Reed spent 15 years at Intuit in various leadership roles, but most recently as the vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas region.
During his tenure at Intuit, Reed grew one of his sales teams from 50 to 650 employees. He also played a critical role in launching Intuit’s global market. His proven ability to develop and manage teams, drive sales and his depth of understanding of the global marketplace will be invaluable in his new role at Infusionsoft.
“When I first walked into Infusionsoft, there was a certain energy that reminded me of what I felt when I worked at Intuit,” said Reed. “I see a lot of opportunities in this company to increase its marketplace presence and accelerate growth. There are smart and talented people on the team, and we’re going to do some great work to help more small businesses than ever discover the power of Infusionsoft.”
