Gilbert, Ariz. Infusionsoft, a provider of an all-in-one sales and marketing software built specifically for small businesses, has named Marc Chesley as chief technology officer (CTO). In his new role, Chesley will continue to drive Infusionsoft's position as a leading technical innovator through his unique blend of high-tech proficiency and entrepreneurial fire. Formerly the company's VP of development and technology, Chesley will continue to lead Infusionsoft's software engineering, systems administration and deliverability teams, helping to translate the vision and design of the product into easy-to-use, all-in-one sales and marketing software that helps small businesses convert more leads, increase sales and save time.
“Marc has been leading like a CTO for years, continually demonstrating his undying passion for helping our 8,500 small business customers succeed, so it's time we make it official,” said Clate Mask, CEO and co-founder of Infusionsoft. “Marc lives our culture, always pushing himself and his team to innovate and constantly improve, and he embraces Infusionsoft's core values and commitment to our customers' success. Because of Marc, Infusionsoft has a long roadmap of product enhancements that are laser focused on delivering big benefits to our customers.”
Prior to joining Infusionsoft, Chesley successfully founded, grew and sold a computer and network services company. He has also held executive positions for WinForce Technologies, Inc. and IT Partners. Chesley is an attorney and is certified as a SCRUM Master and SCRUM Product Owner. Currently, Infusionsoft is working on developing new features and enhancements that address the growing needs for small businesses: CRM, mobile computing, email marketing, e-commerce, sales and marketing automation, business intelligence and reporting, API and SEO/SEM.
Chesley goes on to say, “Infusionsoft is a rocket ship in terms of cloud computing technology, innovation, culture and success. It's an honor to be asked by our CEO to lead our product initiatives. I've doubled our development team over the last year. Our development needs are growing as quickly as the company, and so I plan to double the size of the product development team again over the next 18 months. I'm passionate about helping small businesses succeed. I want Infusionsoft to be an integral part of every small business that's serious about sales and marketing.”
