On Sept. 24 local businesses are invited for a tour, free lunch and tips on how to create a thriving culture that propels growth and keeps employees motivated
Gilbert, Ariz. - September, 15, 2010 - Culture is a company's most valuable asset, according to Clate Mask, co-founder, CEO of Infusionsoft, the leader in email marketing 2.0 for small businesses. The philosophy at Infusionsoft is your competitors can knock off your products, replicate your process and steal your customers, but they can't swoop down and steal your culture. Your culture attracts the right people, ejects the wrong people, and helps guide a company's path to success.
In partnership with BestCompaniesAZ, Infusionsoft will be the first stop in the statewide Most Admired Companies Culture Crawl. Infusionsoft's 30,000 square-foot converted warehouse features an indoor football field, basketball court, reading room and much more. During the event, Infusionsoft's co-founder and VP of Customer Service Scott Martineau will share workplace culture tips that helped Infusionsoft go from a struggling start-up to an $18 million company and three-time Inc. 500 winner.
"We're proud of the culture we've created and we're excited to be the first stop in the Culture Crawl tour," said Martineau. "It's not uncommon to see a piñata throw-down, pancake griddle contest, employees shooting hoops, or sporting 'Truck Stop Chic' on fun Fridays. We have a blast here, but we also work really hard. We trust our employees to get the job done and exceed expectations."
This year Infusionsoft and 42 other local businesses took home the title of 'Arizona's Most Admired Companies' as part of a new program launched by BestCompaniesAZ and Arizona Business Magazine. The new statewide program recognizes companies for excellence in four areas: Workplace Culture, Quality Leadership, Social Responsibility and Customer Opinion. The Most Admired Companies and other local businesses are invited to attend the Culture Crawl events. The next Culture Crawl will be hosted by McMurry on Oct. 21. McMurry was voted No. 5 in the annual Great Place to Work® Rankings: 2010 Best Small & Medium Workplaces Presented by Entrepreneur®, for the third straight year.
"We've always been impressed with Infusionsoft's commitment to create and sustain a unique workplace culture," said Denise Gredler, owner of BestCompanies AZ. "You can feel the energy and excitement as soon as you walk through the doors. Infusionsoft has an inspiring story to share and we're excited that they are the first stop on the Culture Crawl tour."
