Monthly Newsletter

Chloe Emerson owns a small but popular coffee shop called Mug Shots in Portland, Oregon. She has steady foot traffic to her store and a small number of neighborhood regulars, but she’d like to increase repeat business and draw more traffic by promoting monthly events.

To accomplish these goals, Chloe decides to start a newsletter that will help her capture more leads from her website, promote new offerings at her shop and develop a more personal relationship with her customers.

Web Form

Chloe starts by using Infusionsoft’s Web form Builder to create an easy way for website visitors to sign up for the newsletter.

Chloe makes sure to set expectations on what subscribers will receive and asks only for the information she really needs. She also reaffirms a contact’s desire to opt in by using “Subscribe Now” rather than just “Submit” for the button.

Confirmation Email

To assure subscribers that their information has been received, Chloe uses Infusionsoft’s simple Drag & Drop Email Builder to create a brief confirmation email.

Infusionsoft enables Chloe to set up a follow-up sequence that automatically deploys the confirmation email once someone has signed up through the webform.

Newsletter

Chloe maps out the type of content she thinks her customers would find interesting and valuable, settling on a fun mix of promotions and features. She then goes to work building the template using Infusionsoft’s Drag & Drop Email Builder, which allows her to customize the layout, colors and imagery.

By creating her newsletter as a template in Infusionsoft, Chloe can save time in the future by simply cloning the template each month and updating it with the newest content.
