Dear Friend,
In the past five years at Infusion, many smart people have told me that we’re crazy for trying to provide an all-in-one sales, marketing and customer management software program for small businesses.
“Do you know how difficult that will be to pull off?”
“Why don’t you just focus on one thing—like email marketing or follow-up or lead management or e-commerce or billing?”
“Others have tried the same thing and failed. What makes you think YOU can succeed?”
“Traditional CRM software does not include everything that you do, so why break your backs trying to provide such a comprehensive system?”
And my favorite one of all…
“Do you realize how much capital and labor it will require to develop, market and support that type of software program?”
My answer to all the critics is this:
“We realize it’s a huge undertaking. But we also know how badly growth-oriented businesses need a complete system that centralizes, organizes and automates all of their sales, marketing and customer management activities.” At Infusion, we love solving problems for small businesses and we are dead set on providing marketers, entrepreneurs and successful small businesses with the business-building software they need to turn their small businesses into big businesses.”
You probably have your own critics. But the entrepreneurial spirit in all of us doesn’t pay attention to the critics. We plow through the obstacles, solve problems, find “the better way” to do things and drive results for our companies. I applaud the entrepreneurial spirit that drives your business and I want you to know this: the entrepreneurial spirit is burning bright at Infusion. We’re driving hard to provide you with the best business-building software on the planet.
So, let the critics chirp. I don’t care. I know what we’re doing is desperately needed. And I know Infusion Software will succeed in our dream to empower small businesses with the software they need to grow. No ands, ifs or buts about it!
We’re making great progress toward our dream. We’re unveiling a bunch of new features that will make the software more intuitive, easier to use, and more powerful in building your business. We’re expanding our support, adding to our self-help tools and improving our capacity to serve the thousands of people using our software.

Thank you to everyone who participated in January’s customer satisfaction & loyalty survey. We had an overwhelming response and great results for the 2nd consecutive quarter! Archived Feature Suggestions
Just an FYI…we have recently reviewed and archived about 475 outstanding feature suggestions that had been in our system as service tickets for the last 18 months or so. Remember, if you have a feature suggestion going forward, the best way to submit it to us is to use our online form at: http://www.infusionsoft.com/suggestions/.
We have a dedicated staff of product managers who review suggestions and determine how they might fit with our strategic software goals. Due to the volume of suggestions we receive, we do not respond to each suggestion individually, but we do review and appreciate the feedback you provide. |
CRM: Tip of the Month
Did you know that you can create Action Sequences which will trigger when someone clicks a trackable link in your emails?
This feature has been taking CRM users by storm. We have had such excitement and success behind this that we want to make sure everyone knows about it. One CRM User, Victor Cheng, calls this feature an “email marketing break through.” This feature will allow you to perform many actions that previously weren’t possible through email. When someone clicks on a trackable link you can now automate actions such as adding them to a group or marketing campaign, automatically sending out a free report or product, or triggering any number of events. This feature is so successful that at Infusion Software we were able to increase our teleseminar registration by 560% due to single-click enrollment.

Since Valentines Day is all about romance, we thought it would be a great idea to let you know about the new features that we’ve created that will make you fall even more in love with the CRM. We know that with the help of these enhancements, automating your business we'll be even easier.
