On August 1, 2007, Infusion celebrated its 6th birthday! For the first couple years, we were providing custom software to automate small businesses.  But about four years ago, we began selling a product that would do the same thing—automate small businesses.

That’s what Infusion CRM is all about—helping you to automate your business.  Our mission here at Infusion is “To create the leading sales and marketing software program for small businesses that is easy to use, yet powerful enough to turn small businesses into big businesses.”

That’s our focus.  That’s what we live by.  And that’s what we’re relentlessly driving toward every day—becoming the leader by creating a system for you that’s easy to use, yet powerful enough to help you grow your business quickly and profitably.

Today, we have several thousand people using the software every day.  We’re adding 50 or 60 new customers each month, with hundreds of new users per month.  We’re investing in greater support resources, better training and more reliable infrastructure to make sure that Infusion helps you grow your company.

I’m happy to say that we’re making great progress.  We’ve been able to attract top-flight talent and incredible advisors to the company (including the founder of Act! and SalesLogix, Pat Sullivan, who joined our board of directors last month).  We are assembling an army of talented, dedicated people who are passionate about helping small businesses grow fast.

After six years of work, we are pleased with our progress, but not satisfied.  We will continue to pursue our mission so that YOU have the software you need to continue building and growing your business.

I love what we’re doing here at Infusion.  I want to thank you for your support as we continue to make great progress in our mission to help small businesses grow.

Executive Spotlight

I am Kelly Roy – the VP of Customer Loyalty here at Infusion Software and a question I get asked very often is “What exactly is Customer Loyalty?” In fact, I get asked this question so often, that I wanted to take a few minutes to share my thoughts with you, our clients, who are most impacted by my department and everything that we do.

To me, Customer Loyalty = Operations focused on creating a predictable customer experience.

In the Customer Loyalty group we do everything for you from processing your initial order quickly all the way through to providing you with value added services as your business grows.  We are often the primary face and contact our customers have with Infusion. This is a huge responsibility and we take it very seriously.  We take it so seriously that we have defined a term called Loyalty Events. From mapping and studying our service delivery processes, we know these events have a high chance of being customer delighters or customer detractors - in other words they are critical to our customers having a good experience, being satisfied, and ultimately becoming loyal fans of Infusion.  

We also know that sometimes delivering to a Loyalty Event is not exciting or even part of a WOW experience for our customers - it is simply meeting your expectations.  For example, we know that getting your CRM application set-up within 48 hours of your order being processed is important. No, we don’t get extra points on a Loyalty Event score for getting it done on time; however, if we don’t get it done on time, well, we know that does not make our customers happy. We define this event as a detractor to your loyalty - bad news for our Loyalty score! 

We have identified and tracked some of our top Loyalty Events, and continue to refine our service delivery processes to constantly improve your experience. Our goal is to ensure we meet or exceed expectations on any Loyalty Event that has a potential to be a detractor and all other Loyalty Events to consistently exceed prior results.  We always want to make it faster, cheaper and better for you!

Employee of the Month & ROWAN Award Recipient

On the first Friday of every month, we all get together here at Infusion Software for a brief company meeting, where we review department and strategic updates, success stories, hear from guest speakers and generally make sure we are all on the same page.

EOM - MARIANNE FRANCO
My name is Marianne Franco and I have been with Infusion since January 2008. I grew up in Arizona and I have just completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. I am an Implementation Manager, and I assist our clients in getting acclimated to the Infusion CRM, as well as migrating their data and processes into the CRM.  

I love Infusion because they constantly recognize hard work and dedication. The people are the best that I’ve ever worked with and I enjoy the daily interaction with my clients. There are wonderful opportunities here to learn and grow, and I’m very grateful to be a part of this organization.

ROWAN AWARD WINNER - BRET CROSBY
My name is Bret Crosby and I was July’s Rowan Award Winner! I am the Revenue Accountant here at Infusion and have been with the company since January 2006. I worked only part-time until I graduated in December 2006 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Arizona State University. I just began studying for the CPA exam. I have a wonderful wife who loves Infusion Software. We are expecting our first child this December!

I love working for Infusion Software! Hands down it’s the best company I have ever worked for. I love the fun, enthusiastic environment that each member of Infusion helps contribute to. I remember my very first day on the job. Clate Mask, the President of the company, came over and gave me a big high-five after I had accomplished some task. I knew then that this job was going to be unlike any other. I love interacting with our customers and reading their testimonials about how awesome our software is and how much they love what the software does for their businesses. Oh yeah, I also love the sweet perks such as the Hummer H-3 that I get to romp around in for a month, the stocked fridge, the company outings, the stock options, the monthly company meetings, and the casual dress code (it’s hot in Arizona, so I love being able to wear shorts and sandals to work!)
