Product Management

The Product Management Team at Infusionsoft is comprised of three key groups: Core Product, Whole Product and Product Marketing.

The Core Product Team plans and designs all of the features and functionality in the Infusionsoft application by listening to customer needs, building requirements for the software, and testing product enhancements.

The Whole Product Team is responsible for forging relationships with partners, building a community, and developing integrated technology in order to provide our customers with external applications that they can use to grow their business.

The Product Marketing Team conducts competitive research and analysis, gathers market intelligence, plans product launches, develops key product messaging, and brings the voice of the customer into practice.

Job Description:
The CRM Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product development lifecycle, specifically for the CRM functionality in Infusionsoft. These responsibilities include: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision & requirements, and working closely with development, sales, support, and marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Be intimately aware of the pains, challenges and needs of entrepreneurs who are trying to grow their businesses. This will be done by
  • -Connecting directly with customers
  • -Tapping into internal and external sources of information (sales, support, services, biz-dev, finance, consultants, etc.)
  • -Perform win/loss analysis and cancellation analysis
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition.
  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver requirements documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Working closely with product marketing to ensure that the features and products developed by your team are promoted accurately and aggressively
  • Monitoring usage of your products/features to ensure adoption by the customers.
  • Run beta and pilot programs
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Lead the CRM scrum team as a product owner
  • Act as a leader within the company

Requirements Needed:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a software Product Manager.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Examples of effective documents delivered in the past 2 years
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related technical discipline

Desired Skills:

  • CRM experience
  • Masters Degree in Marketing or related technical discipline
